Purcell Mountain Painters open show at TAGO

A new exhibition by the Purcell Mountain Painters, “For the Love of Colour,” opened Thursday, April 3 at The Art Gallery Osoyoos (TAGO).

The show runs until Saturday, May 31.

This Friday, April 4 the TAGO show will again be participating in the First Friday Art Walk and reception involving other local galleries.

As in the past, the First Friday Art Walk also includes participation by The Okanagan Art Gallery, Wayside Books & Art, as well as the Osoyoos & District Museum. All events are free. Visitors may drop in between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.

The Purcell Mountain Painters are an informal group that meets at a studio in Invermere, BC. Members also come from Golden and Cranbrook, and some are seasonal residences from the Prairies and elsewhere.

The gallery is open non-summer hours, Tuesday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is free, but donations are welcome.

It is located at 8713 Main St. in Osoyoos, B.C., just west of Town Hall.
